Tuffi Films starts debt restructuring programme

The film production company Tuffi Films starts debt restructuring programme

Tuffi Films has faced major financial difficulties in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic. Previous to the pandemic the company was growing and had five projects in production, all of which were released during various lockdowns or directly after. Also, the wider European economic downturn, caused by the War in Ukraine, has affected the financing of international collaborative projects, that the company was involved with.

The company will now continue its work on impactful audiovisual films and series and will be working on company restructuring in order to take care of responsibilities.

Tuffi Films was established in 2010, and it is known for it award-winning films, such as the Oscar contender Do I Have to Take Care of Everything?, Sundance-winner The Date, Berlinale- winner Stupid Young Heart, multiple National Film Award -winner Games People Play and documentaries such as the EFA-nominee Hobbyhorse Revolution.
