Stupid Young Heart

Berlinale Crystal Bear Winner and Finland's Oscar Entry 2019

Kiira is pretty, popular, the lead on the high school dance team, and long-time crush of goofy, scrawny Lenni. When Kiira discovers she's pregnant, she and Lenni decide to keep the baby, even though they are just kids themselves. In pursuit of manhood and fatherhood, Lenni finds himself drawn into a right-wing extremist group where he’s forced to confront contemporary connections between nationalism, race, and masculinity.
