Selma Vilhunen tackles the poignant topic of the many forms of love.
Directed and written by Selma Vilhunen, the shooting of the new Finnish film Four Little Adults has been completed. The film stars Alma Pöysti, the Jussi Award winner who charmed the audiences in Tove, Guldbagge award-winner Eero Milonoff, and Jussi Award winner Oona Airola and Pietu Wikström.
Four Little Adults tells the story of Juulia, who discovers that her husband Matias is having an affair with Enni and decides to embrace the opportunity of polyamory without secrets. Four Little Adults is a unique modern love story about the limits of love.
"Selma Vilhunen is an exceptionally daring and original director. I am extremely happy for this journey of love we have taken together, and to have met such fantastic, sensitive and talented actors like Eero, Oona and Pietu," Alma Pöysti comments.
"At the heart of our story is human frailty and helplessness in the face of life, no matter how hard one tries to strive towards security and good, right decisions. With this group of actors I dared to dive into the complex emotions of the scenes, surrender to them, and take risks together. All four leading actors are incredibly skilled and interesting artists whose wisdom and professionalism I admire," says Selma Vilhunen.
